The founding members of Bisi CONGO come from the Congo, but have settled in Sweden.

After a few years of living in Sweden, Bisi Congo was discovered by local musicians that were called by the joy that is present in both African culture and music and were inspired to join the group. Now they consist of both Congolese and Swedish musicians.

Bisi CONGO primary mission is to spread the gospel through music and at the same time update people about the situation in the Congo. During the war, the group supported refugee work in the Congo.

We have invited them because of the diversity and world views they bring, and the inspiring mission they have to support people in the Congo.

Bisi CONGO is now working on a project called "Hope time", to finance vocational training for young people. The goal is to help them from violence and weapons to become self-sufficient.
